Our baby is a genius!!!

Our sweet baby is only seven months today, but already says mom and momma. I posted this for all of you who do not believe me. We were at a friends house the other day and she was not feeling well. I laid her down on the floor to take her big sister to the potty. She started crying momma when I left the room. She now says it every time she can't see me. She also yells "mmmm-mmmm" when she wants to eat. A genius I say!

What we have all been waiting for...THE NEW CAR!

Oh yes, the time has finally come. My 1997 Honda "Blue Bullet" has officially retired from the Richards family residence! We now have "the family car". Many of you know it was well over due, but we finally did it. We have had the same cars since before we started dating. We do, however, still have the other Honda and it is still kicking. You all know my husband, he will drive that thing until the body has rusted off and the doors no longer open or close. Gotta love him!!! Take a good look because I am sure this is what we will have for the next 10 or so years. Oh, and for all of you stuck in Utah with the dirty salted roads and the below freezing temperatures, look at that blue sky. If I have to live away, I have to show off the benefits of it! Ky-v is pretty excited too! She keeps telling daddy, "it sure was nice of you to get us a new car"! However she will not stop kicking the seat in front of her, go figure. How can you be mad with a smile like that?!
The baby thinks it is pretty cool too!!!
The girls chillin in ky's "purple room" in her "purple bed". Check out those jammies! They love to match (or maybe I love them to match).

Christmas in Utah!!!

We had so much fun spending Christmas with our family and friends in Utah! The girls enjoyed spending time with their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We were showered with love and gifts from everyone. We truly miss seeing you all on a daily basis, but it makes our time with you so special and cherished. We are so blessed. Thanks to everyone who opened their homes, cars, and personal space to accommodate our family. The best gift our family received was getting to spend our holiday with all of you. There truly is no place like home (however, it did help to come back to a warm 73 and a new car)! Ok-Ok, enough of the cheesy gratitude!!! Here are some pix and details of our trip! P.S. CONGRATULATIONS TO ADRI AND JOSH ON THEIR NEW ENGAGEMENT! (12-30-07)
Ky's and Papa shoveling off the driveway Sunday afternoon!
Yep, sitting already! What can I say, my girls are incredible! I could eat those dimples.
The baby thought this was great. Ky said, "a perfect fit"! It is Ky's new baby doll play pin from Santa. Again, Spoiled!
Cousin Kayden came late Christmas day to Grandma and Grandpa's! Poor kid had the flu and had been throwing up all day, but still insisted on seeing his cousins and uncle. Nice cheese Kybugs!
This was quite the adventure. We went to try on wedding gowns with Adri and I let Ky try on this dress for fun. BIG MISTAKE. She threw a huge fit. Everyone in the store kept getting involved thinking they had the solution to make her give the dress back. After about 45 minutes of ear wrenching screams, we successfully put the dress back on the rack. Turns out all I had to tell her was that we were going to see the Temple! Whatever, it worked. For those who have a wonderful 2 year old and think that the terrible 2's are going to skip your child, just wait. Turns out it is when they are two months away from turning 3. Love ya baby girl. I just cannot understand where she gets her stubbornness from.
This picture was taken at our home in Texas. It was too precious, I had to post the loves of my life! Thanks Santa for coming to our house early this year! It was really fun having Santa come to both states. The only problem is that Kybugs thinks it's still Christmas because it lasted so long. She can't stop singing "Santa Clause is Coming to Town".
Taya, Haylee, Ky's, and Skyler built their first snowman. None of them live where snow falls so they were loving the snow! The carrot actually fell and landed in a funny spot, I really am not perverted but I did take a picture because the kids could not figure out why the adults were all laughing so hard. Ky's expression was the best. She was so confused. She instantly grabbed it and put it back were it belong.
Squeezes from "me" Nana!
The baby and Grandpa were feeling the Christmas spirit in their festive red outfits!
Big hugs for Grandma!
